Job completed:
We were recently asked by a homeowner in Longfield, Kent, to visit their home and install some new Parquet flooring for them. Following their free survey and no obligation consultation, we carried out a full installation of Floorstock Engineered Rustic Parquet flooring.

- Bona Mega Satin Matt Lacquer
- Latex and adhesives
Completion:
We started by applying one coat of primer to the sub-floor. Once dried, we prepared the flooring with one coat of latex smoothing compound.
We then used Floorstock Rustic Parquet unfinished flooring blocks, which were laid in a herringbone design with a one block border to the perimeter. This extended into the doorways and was fully bonded to the sub-floor.
Once everything was fitted, we applied three coats of Bona Mega Satin Matt lacquer, including a buffing between coats.
Lastly, all door bars and trims were supplied and fitted in solid oak to finish and match the newly laid parquet flooring.
