Our promise

We at Kent Flooring UK Ltd have made every effort to ensure that the information and content of this website is accurate and up to date. We cannot be held liable for any errors, omissions, or changes in price. All products are subject to availability. All images on the website are for illustration purposes only and are intended to give a general guide of how the product may look. The actual product may differ slightly to that in the illustration.

Ordering

We have one method in which you can place your order: via the Internet on our website.

Payment
All orders must be paid for in full before they will be shipped or ordered from the manufacturer.

Prices
Unless otherwise agreed in writing all orders are executed subject to prices and any relevant discounts ruling at the date of receipt of the order and any price list of the Company whether published or not will not affect the right of the Company to charge for Goods in accordance with this clause. All prices are subject to the addition of Value Added Tax at the appropriate rate. Payment of the Price quoted, the VAT must be paid at sale, which is included within the price, prior to delivery arrangements being made.

Our Right to Adjust Rates & Prices

In the event of termination, variation, or suspension of a contract on the Buyer’s instruction or by lack of instruction, the price will be adjusted to reflect the additional costs incurred by the Company. Where a price per unit has been quoted and the Buyers requires a smaller number of units to be delivered than those quoted for, the Company reserves the right to adjust the rates of prices applicable thereto.

Delivery & Delivery Cost

All products are usually delivered in packs or pallets, delivery time is 3-5 Working days. Subject to change, we will endeavour to contact you to arrange a suitable day for the delivery, we will call an hour before estimated time of arrival.

Standard deliver is 3-5 working days Monday-Friday £35.00

Special delivery Saturday £40.00

Delivery Process

To keep you informed throughout the entire delivery process, when we receive your order, you are sent an e-mail order confirmation, followed by a notification of dispatch when your order has left our warehouse. You may also get SMS updates if you have selected that option at checkout.

 How Your Order is Delivered

Deliveries are made ‘kerbside’. Handling the goods is the responsibility of the recipient. When making a large order we advise to plan and arrange a second pair of hands to help if you’re receiving lots of boxes, especially if your order is for a room not on the ground floor.  Please note: This applies to flats, tower blocks, high rises etc.

Missing Items

If for any reason your order didn’t arrive within 3-5 working days, please contact us straight away.

Failed Deliveries

If your order arrives as arranged but we’re unable to deliver because there’s nobody home, there’s inadequate help available, the goods are refused, or the order is cancelled whilst in transit (goods are in transit 24 hours before the chosen delivery date) you will be liable for any additional costs incurred for the goods being returned, please refer to delivery costs this will be charged again to re-delivery on another date.

We strongly advise against booking installers until goods have been received and checked as, regrettably, we cannot be held responsible for any consequential losses or unforeseen delivery delays.

 Faulty and/or Damaged Goods

If your order arrives with a manufacturing fault or damages, we ask you to report this within 5 days and we will make all the necessary arrangements to have the goods replaced, pending investigation. 

Missing Goods

If you find that any items in your order from Kent Flooring UK Ltd have been lost in transit, please make sure that this is noted down on the carrier’s delivery note and contact us immediately.

Please note: We cannot accept claims for missing goods after the carrier has left the delivery address unless they have been signed for as missing. 

Your responsibility

You, the customer/recipient of your purchased goods must check that all flooring products are in perfect condition before using them. Kent Flooring UK Ltd cannot accept any claims for damaged, faulty, or mis-described items once they have been used or fitted. Such use or fitting shall be taken as proof that the buyer has accepted that the goods are in perfect condition. You must accept full responsibility for the suitability of the items ordered for the purpose to which they are used.  

Our Returns and Cancellation Policy 

Strictly no returns.

General Warranty

Warranties are only applicable for the original purchaser, and a receipt of purchase must be provided. Any damage, made intentionally, occurring during fitting or which due to negligence, malice, removal fire, water damage and similar events will void the warranty. Similarly, spots which have appeared following the use of an unsuitable chemical product or improper cleaning method, are not covered by the warranty. Other costs incurred during the replacement of the new flooring will not be covered. In the event of a disagreement, an independent expert will be appointed to inspect the flooring on site. Statutory rights are not affected.

Faulty Goods

All goods must be of satisfactory quality, as described and fit for purpose and last a reasonable length of time, if not they are legally faulty, return them within 30 days for a full refund.

Events Beyond Our Control

We shall have no liability to you for any failure/delay in supply and delivery, in each case that is caused by an event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control, including accidents, extreme weather conditions, fire, explosion, floor, storm, earthquake, natural disaster, failure of telecommunication networks, inability to use transport networks, acts of God, terrorist attack, war, civil commotion, riots, strikes, lockouts and other industrial disputes, acts of restraints of Government and imposition of restrictions on imports or exports.

Privacy Policy

We protect your personal data in strict accordance with the principles of the Data Protection Act (1998) and the European Union Data Protection Framework Directives and only store the data necessary for accounting, marketing, sales, public relations, and record keeping maintaining and improve the trading relationships between the company and its customers and suppliers.  All debit/credit card details are held securely and only transmitted in encrypted form in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).
