Job completed:
We recently visited Dower House at Bethlem Royal Hospital in Beckenham to install some new parquet block flooring.

Products used:
- Engineered Oak Prime Grade Parquet Flooring
- Ardex NA latex smoothing compound
- Sub-floor latex
Completion:
We removed and disposed of existing parquet flooring. We then prepared the sub-floor with Ardex NA latex smoothing compound and laid it over the existing bitumen residue and then built up the sub-floor with latex to gain correct levels.
We fitted the Engineered Oak Prime Grade Parquet blocks, which were fully bonded to the sub-floor with adhesive and fitted with a x2 block border. We then lightly sanded the blocks and applied 3x coats of heavy duty contract lacquer, buffing between coats and then the solid oak flat trims to the perimeter were fitted to match.
